This course is designed to identify potential stressors in our lives, and develop the skills necessary to deal with them. It looks at the nature of stress and it considers the relationships between stress and health, and between stress and work performance.

Anger Management

Anger can affect every part of your life. It can become a challenge for many adults, teens and children. Uncontrolled anger is a major factor in domestic violence, spousal abuse, road rage, marital conflict, workplace rudeness and disruption. Unresolved anger issues can diminish quality of life by adversely affecting health, work and family situation. We believe in a pedagogical approach to anger management. The participants in this course will learn 8 effective tools for managing anger, allowing for a better understanding of anger and the implementation of new behavioural patterns. Our hands-on approach will allow participants to examine behaviours and situations with a different outlook; they will be able to practice these effective tools and implement changes in their response to anger.

Is critical in achieving goals. It involves an understanding of one's self in order to find the best strategies that will bring about success. When establishing goals, it is crucial to understand self-talk and the impact it has on achieving goals. Neuro-lingusitic programming is a behavioural approach to reprogramming self-talk. Understanding individual typing will also allow the possibility to understand our own functioning when setting goals.

By understanding their beliefs, value system, ways of living, eating habits etc..This course is based on the research of Professor Hofstede Cultural dimensions.

In this course participants learn the 5 dimensions of a culture, they compare their culture to the Canadian Culture on each of Professor Hofstede's 5 dimensions; identify reasons for cultural barriers and come up with an action plan to overcome cultural barriers.
