Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Coordinator to join our reputable client’s dynamic team.

Job Description:
As an HR Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the company’s human resources functions. You will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations according to Quebec standards, maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, and provide exceptional support to our staff.

Job responsibilites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, and HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits of benefits and other HR programs to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Provide guidance and support to management on HR-related issues and employee relations matters.
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding processes as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of employee information.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR and payroll, with a strong understanding of HR practices and principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of Quebec laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Experience with unions is an asset.
  • Bilingualism is a must.
