Who needs this training?
This course is for workers who work in an industrial environment and are regulated by the 851 industrial regulations.
Why?
Since 2006 40% of workers’ death in construction was caused by falls and 60% of these workers were not using any or poor fall protection equipment when it happened. WSIB claims that one in every five lost time injuries are the result of a fall and that most falls are preventable. This course is a legal obligation for anyone working at heights of more than 3 meters above ground level. LaborTek Safety Training has built its course around the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario.
