As a starting point, it is critical that you fully understand the operator's manual for the Bucket Truck you are operating. You should refer to your manual for inspection, service, driving and operating the Bucket Truck. You should also become familiar with the safety features of your Bucket Truck. These include such things as guards, outrigger interlock and ground fault circuit interrupter and warning labels. These safety features are designed to help prevend accidents and may not be modified or removed.

  2. Overview of bucket truck specification and model.
  3. Operator training.
  4. personal protective equipment.
  5. Materials handling equipment.
  6. Inspection and maintenance.
  7. Driving and setting up at work sites.
  8. Working in the bucket.
  9. Emergency procedure.
