Location

• Providing problem recognition, isolation, research, resolution and follow-up.
• Providing 2nd level technical support.
• Providing systems administration duties such as creating and maintaining network accounts, performing basic security back-ups.
• Escalating more complex problems to senior support personnel to expedite resolution.
• Assisting with the automation of desktop computer build processes and packaging applications.
• Troubleshooting and resolving network problems.
• Creating problem and resolution logs for help desk activities.
• Ensuring technical support issues are resolved in a prompt and efficient manner.
Education:
• Secondary school diploma is required.
• Certificate, diploma, or degree in computer science or other relevant field from a recognized post secondary institution is required.
Experience:
• Minimum of one (1) year experience providing desktop computer support services specifically for PCor Macintosh computers is required.
Asset Qualifications:
• Current and valid certification in A+, MCP, or MCSEmay be required.
