Who needs this training?
This course is strongly recommended for all workers in the construction industry, but especially for those who are in charge of workers involved in assembling and dismantling scaffolds.
Why?
Canadian statistics show that more than half of all scaffold accidents in Ontario are related to falls while between 15 to 20% are derived from erecting and dismantling scaffolds, along with climbing up and down the structure.

Course outline:
1. Identify areas that can cause harm when using a scaffold.
2. Differentiate between types of scaffolds and select the proper one for the work to be done.
3. Differentiate between the various parts and components of a scaffold.
